On Thursday 9 November Fab Foundation Ireland will host an event at Creative Spark as part of its Science Foundation Ireland Discovery Programme.
The aim of the event is to highlight the use of new technologies and scientific advances in the design and making of works of art and craft. Two artist / designer-makers will talk about their work and how they use technology; there will also be an opportunity to see the work in progress using 3D printing and laser-cutting technologies.
Meet artist-designers Mary Conroy and Kerrie Hanna who will speak about and demonstrate how they use technology in the designing and making of their artworks.
