Emma Ray is an artist who mainly focuses on portraiture, in print, oil painting and mixed medium. She graduated from DIT with a BA in Fine Art and has exhibited in Bloc T, The Táin Centre, Broadcast Gallery and Dublin CFCP. Emma currently works as a tattoo artist in her private studio located in Creative Spark. She is currently working on a public sculpture commission by The Royal Irish Academy/TII (Transport Infrastructure Ireland). The sculpture is in celebration of William Rowan Hamilton’s eureka moment, which resulted in the discovery of quaternions. The sculpture will be unveiled on Hamilton Day 2019 (October 16th at Broombridge Luas/train station in Dublin).
