Providing Space for the Future
Our ambition is that Creative Spark continues to operate efficiently, maximising opportunities for our occupants, and increasing business and community use of our facilities. By 2030, one job out of two will have disappeared, and 60% of jobs that will be performed do not exist yet. We want to be a key driver ensuring that our region is prepared.
Our Enterprise FabLab at Creative Spark will provide access to a suite of state-of-the-art digital fabrication hardware and software co-located with a thriving enterprise centre. It will stimulate enterprise and advance creativity and innovation in the North-East region through the establishment of a digital fabrication enterprise and co-working initiative.
The delivery of the Enterprise FabLab which aims to develop an entrepreneurial cluster whilst solving real industry challenges and providing assistance in business support, as well as technical, engineering and design expertise within a dedicated facility, is of high value to our region and will link us into the FabLab global network based out of MIT.
The Creative Spark Downtown Project will engage a new community of smart and remote workers who are more active in the local community as a consequence of our changing working environment.
