What is the Peace IV Puppet Programme?
This programme aims to help arouse the collective imaginations of your children and young people to help them breathe new life into the stories and folklore of Louth through the art of storytelling and puppetry. This is the perfect opportunity for them to Dream, Imagine, Create & Explore together with other budding puppeteers! Your children will spend the week learning about puppets, storytelling, creating their own puppet and storyboard and preparing for a special performance at the end of the week to showcase their great work.
When and where is it?
- The programme will run over the mid-term break from Monday 17th February until Friday 21st February at Creative Spark, Muirhevnamore, Co. Louth from 1pm to 5pm Monday to Thursday.
- Friday 21st February will include a day trip to meet other budding puppeteers in Northern Ireland.
Who can do it?
This programme is for children aged 8 to 10 years old.
How much does it cost?
This is a free programme, funded by the Special European Union Programme Body PEACE IV and managed by Ards and North Down Borough Council. Its is being run by Blu Zebra, in partnership Creative Spark and Pucca Puppets.
