Tutor: Alison Lowry
During this class we will create two open face casting moulds. We will fill one with glass frits and powders, which will allow us to use precise colour placement. The other we will fill with glass billet and you will have the option as to whether you would like to add some decals into this firing. Every step will be demo-ed, and we will discuss suitable firing schedules and the pros and cons of casting in this manner during the course. All materials will be supplied, but do dress for mess!
Experience with glass could be advantageous, but not essential
