Creative Spark will host a free coding event for Boys and Girls aged 8 to 13 years. This event will introduce kids to basic computer science and design engineering concepts using LEGO Education SPIKE Essentials Kits and Coding Unplugged STEM Activities.

The event will be facilitated by experienced Coding & STEM instructors from The Code Lab and Creative Spark FabLab. The kids will work through a set of tutorials in pairs and at their own pace, to build and code LEGO prototypes using the Science Theme.
They will also work through some coding unplugged STEM activities, gaining a deeper understanding of coding and computer science concepts, and building on their problem solving, perseverance and teamwork skills.

This event is designed to introduce kids to STEM concepts in a fun and playful way.
