This is a FREE fun coding event for girls aged 8 to 10 years. This event will introduce girls to coding using Scratch, a fun visual programming language for children. The event will be facilitated by Joan McCann from TheCodeLab, who will teach and guide the girls to create their own digital story in Scratch with characters, conversations, background scenes, sounds and music! 

This event is designed to inspire local girls to embrace technology, and show them how it can be fun and creative.   Suitable for beginners or girls who are familiar with Scratch.  More experienced coders or fast learners can add more features to their digital story.
