The workshop introduces contemporary techniques used in Silk Fibre Paper Making: a natural process where layers of raw, untreated silk are fused together to create ‘fabric-like’, lightweight and textured silk papers, dyed with fabric dyes in the process. Participants will make 4 or 5 unique works, including a sculptural piece. Finished silk papers can be used for various art mediums, writing, embroidery and stitching, collage works etc,and  they make striking interior decorations.
