Niamh Hannaford and Tara Carroll
Updated: 05 Aug 2022
Niamh uses her work to explore her inner fears with a playful curiosity. Still, she is constantly terrified. Niamh examines human emotions through a mix of spoken word performance, object making, and self-portraiture painting. Niamh’s objective is to bare herself and her vulnerabilities in her work so that people can find common ground with their own experiences. By putting herself forward and revealing herself, she has found others keen to share similar stories of doubt, fear, and joy. It is this sharing of experience that deeply interests her.
Tara Carroll is a Dublin based artist, curator and facilitator. Her focus as a curator is to develop opportunities in particular for performance art, as she is passionate about the potency and importance of the medium. She also aids this development through the facilitation of workshops. She proudly created a performance art course that she teaches within Block-T as a means to make performance art more accessible to people from various disciplines.
