Creative Skills Development
10 Week Courses
Ceramics (Adults)

On your 10 week course, Etaoin will expertly guide you through some of the various techniques to get you started on your ceramic journey. From introduction to ceramics and how to join clay together, to making funky storage jars and candleholders to decorating using slips and glazes, you will work at a steady and relaxed pace to create some wonderful objects to be proud of. During the course Etaoin will also be setting up a pottery wheel going through the different stages of throwing. Click here to book your place
Painting (Adults aged 16+)

Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced painter, these classes will help you master your chosen media or experiment with new ones. You will learn to mix colour, use a palette knife, glaze, varnish and create your own compositions in a relaxed creative environment; suitable for acrylics and oils.
Creative Club (Children 8-13 years)

Cost: €100 (inc. materials)
Join our brand new after school art club at Creative Spark. Young artists explore a huge variety of different techniques and projects. Use professional art materials, learn traditional skills and digital fabrication to create a series of different artworks.
Our tutors will guide you through different projects including ceramics, printmaking, painting, laser cutting and much much more.

Sewing Machine Projects Beginners / Improvers (Adults)
Tutor: Caoimhe O’Dwyer
Cost: €150
This great course will bring your sewing to the next level or refresh your skills. Learn new skills and techniques in a fun, creative atmosphere and meet like-minded people who are keen to do the same. You will get to design, make and take home some fun and quirky projects, or you can bring a special project to work on.
Please bring your own sewing machine (two class machines available for those without).
Sew Creative for Kids, sewing and fashion design class. (Children 7-12 years)

Learn how to sew using a sewing machine. Kids will make fabulous sewing and fashion projects using sewing machines and hand sewing techniques, in a fun and safe environment. During this 10-week course, participants will get to create personalised projects to bring home and use, while learning new skills on the way.

Introduction to Printmaking
Tutor: Gráinne Murphy

This ten-week course will give you a taster of several different printmaking techniques. You will learn how to develop your artwork into a series of different editions. Perfect for beginners or people who want to explore more techniques.
Techniques covered include Monoprint, Drypoint, Collagraph, Woodcut and Cyanotype

This five-week course is a great opportunity to learn the art of screen printing. Explore and learn screen printing, both paper and fabric printing.
Using your own drawings and images, discover how to transform your design into an edition of prints. You will learn all the tricks and skills you need to start screen printing independently at a high level. You will experiment techniques, such us hand cut stencils, photo stencils and MRPVC hand drawn stencil.
This course is suitable for complete beginners and well as improvers.
