Creative Spark Enterprise FabLab and IAAS Transforming Innovation Together

We are excited to announce that Creative Spark Enterprise FabLab is now part of IAAS (Innovation-as-a-Service). The IaaS Directory of Services, is a platform that offers over 125 smart and disruptive technology solutions for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs). The Directory of Services is part of the Innovation-as-a-Service (IaaS) project, funded by Enterprise Ireland and led by ERNACT.

The project focuses exclusively on developing a new service that will leverage, network and add value to the existing stock of innovation hubs and public technology providers.

IAAS is a cloud platform where different digital stakeholders can provide their services, designed to effectively manage the latest technology from providers to clients.

Within this cloud, you can find institutes, universities, or private sector companies involved in the manufacturing processes and associated technologies.

It offers a user-friendly VR tour of each establishment to visualise the set up and the space. Additionally, services are listed in an extensive directory. For example, under 3D printing, users can find where 3D printing services are available across Ireland.

The primary objective of IAAS is to create connections among Irish businesses facing similar challenges.

Being a member of IAAS presents a great opportunity for the Creative Spark Enterprise FabLab. We can easily network with colleagues and businesses who require access to our extensive offerings in the realm of digital fabrication technology and services. In the picture above, you can see some of the other locations of manufacturing businesses across Ireland who are connecting with IAAS.

The continuing decentralisation of digital product development technology has accelerated at an unprecedented rate over the last 10 years. The harmonising of the provision of services and collaborative work environment that is in place at the Creative Spark Enterprise FabLab continues to be a beacon of innovation bringing cutting edge technology to the people of the North East of Ireland. IAAS now offers us the ability to expand the delivery of our services.

At Creative Spark Enterprise FabLab, we provide workspace and training with advanced technologies supported by expert mentors.

The barriers to adopting new skills, upskilling or reskilling have never been lower. Talk to us about membership today.
