What is the Creative Spark Downtown Project

Creative Spark is delighted to announce that works have begun this week on the renovation of 42 Clanbrassil Street (previously Cumiskey’s shop) to develop our new Downtown Hub.

Making remote working work for you can be a challenge, but with our new DownTown Project in the town centre, Creative Spark aims to make life a bit easier for you.

With the aim to be up and running by Spring time, the Co-working Hub will have an open plan layout with 42 desks, two meeting rooms and a number of privacy pods between the ground and basement floor, along with a lobby area and tea and coffee making facilities. As Covid-19 is still a part of our lives we are also installing perspex screens at each desk for your health and safety.

The basement meeting room will be soundproofed and can be rented along with our podcasting equipment. If you are interested in learning more about podcasting, we are currently finalising details for our Podcasting Training. Keep an eye out on our website and social media for booking details when they go live!

This central location is perfect for people working from home who may be looking to separate work and home life but do not want to return to long commutes.

The open plan layout will also appeal to local entrepreneurs and the start-up community giving them an opportunity to network, share contacts and collaborate with other members of the Hub. You will also be a part of the wider Creative Spark community, where you can meet other people from different or similar sectors.

The town centre location is also a great halfway point for business meetings between northern and southern branches or companies.

There are over 350 enterprise hubs, co-working and remote working across the country supporting start-ups, SMEs, multinationals and remote workers across the public and private sectors.

The Creative Spark Downtown Hub will support all areas of local enterprise with regular training programmes and events being held at our new location supporting hub members and the local community.

Desks will be available to book for half / full days or you can sign up to a monthly membership.

If you are intereted in making an enquiry about our Downtown Hub, please contact Ciara at ciara@creativespark.ie or call us on (042) 938 5720.
