Alistair Livingstone
Alistair has recently returned to more directly creative expression after years practising and passing on knowledge and understanding of yoga.
In his exploration a series of images were initially drawn from remembered incidents and personalities which he has evolved slowly over a period of time in conjunction with an accompanying auto fictional memory ‘scrapbook’ into more metaphysical concepts on the theme of “Falling”.
We have all of us at some time in our lives “fallen”. Some fall from a gate or a wall – or simply trip-up in the street. The bible tells us that we “fell from grace” and we fall in – and out – of love. We love our work – or not, our homes and our cars. People fall from bridges and tower blocks and into bed. Water “falls” and so do trees and Autumn.
