Antonia’s background is textile design and screen printing. Simultaneously working with film, she fused these studies into animation. Antonia co-directed “From the same Thread”, a Stop Motion Animation film which has been widely screened and acclaimed in many international festivals.

In the last few years, Antonia been working in different stop motion projects as background artist and puppet modelling in Barcelona, and recently started to work on a new short film to develop next year.

Antonia intends to “work on these illustrations, and explore the possibilities of printing to make animations with them. I would like to experiment with the format of fanzines or flipbooks that contain a small story about creating this film story (the process of the process, so to speak)”.
