A core thread that weaves through my work is a probing of identity, ranging from the personal through to the cultural and political sometimes albeit in a romanticized, reminiscent concept. 
I always use photography as a starting point in any body of work that I am about to commence and I really wanted to be taught and understand how print making and photography could enhance my own painting work. I always want to enhance my skillset and so when Louth County Council awarded me funding, I was able to join the print studio and sign up for the print making course. It was an amazing course taught by Gráinne, so laid back but very informative and structured- I just loved it!!!
