Aoife Edwards is a visual artist from Dundalk, County Louth. She studied Painting & Sculpture in Belfast School of Art, and Fine Art in KABK in the Hague before training as a humanistic psychotherapist. Her solo exhibitions include Becoming at the Basement Gallery, An Táin, and Linear Belongings curated by Anne Mager in the Lock Up, Dundalk. She has exhibited across Ireland and Europe, with group shows in Belfast, the Hague, Cologne, Dortmund, and Amsterdam. In 2023 she was awarded Grants Under The Arts funding by Create Louth, and joined Creative Spark Print Studio as a member.
Aoife's colourful prints are dopamine-inducing and addictive, recognisable by her signature painterly style. Themes derive from her love of humans and nature, celebrating flora, fauna, and femininity.
