Michael Stafford is an Irish artist who graduated from Sligo IT with BA Honours Degree in Fine Art in 2004.. He also attended Dun Laoighaire Institute of Art/Design/Technology where he obtained a National Diploma in Fine Art.

Working mainly as a painter he also creates art in other fields, such a print, sculpture and various digital art forms, 2D, film and sound.

Michael has had several solo exhibitions and contributed to many group exhibitions around Ireland and his work is in private and public collection dotted around the globe.

 While attending art college he started to facilitate art workshops and teach painting classes which he continues today, working with groups of all ages and backgrounds.

Michaels last solo exhibition ‘An Introspective’ plays with surreal landscapes and imagined natives'. There are no fixed agendas or no method, just imagination, “maybe sometimes it is biographical, but I think I will leave that for somebody else to presume”.
